The deceased, Jos and Annette Levasseur, wrote the first lines of this history, which was perpetuated by their daughter Paulette and her husband Jerry Plourde, then by their grandchildren, Mark and Carl Plourde.

A new chapter began in April 2019 as Decocentre Levasseur changed hands. A businessman and entrepreneur from Edmundston, Paul Cormier, acquired the company. Trained as an engineer, it is his passion and experience in the business world that encouraged him to acquire the family business and he intends to make it a success.
